Vietjet Air prepares to launch Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia)- Cam Ranh route

According to information from Vietjet Branch in the Central region, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Mongolia, the Vietnam – Mongolia Business Forum was held on November 2, 2023. During the general event of the Forum, Vietjet Air held a program to announce the route connecting Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) to Cam Ranh International Airport (Khanh Hoa).

The announcement ceremony of Ulaanbaatar-Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) route was held in the presence of Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh - President of Mongolia and Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, together with leaders of ministries, central agencies and enterprises of Vietnam and Mongolia. It is expected that the Ulaanbaatar – Cam Ranh International Airport route of Vietjet Air will be operated as of December 15, 2023 with the initial frequency of 2 flights/week; each flight time is about 6 hours, and the aircraft used on this route is the new generation Airbus A321.

Currently at Cam Ranh International Airport, Vietjet Air has operated flights of Korean cities – Cam Ranh, China – Cam Ranh and Kazakhtan – Cam Ranh. The new Cam Ranh - Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) route will contribute to meeting travel demands of Mongolian people and tourists to Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa. Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is a coastal city and a major tourist center of the country with a warm sunny climate, white sandy coastline and many attractive tourist attractions, combined with great cultural, historical and natural attractions, large steppes along with a cold winter climate in Mongolia will definitely attract a large number of tourists between Mongolia, Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular in the coming time.
