The group of goods that enjoyed relative stability in recent years is aquatic products (making up over 60% of the total export turnover of local exports), processing artifacts and handicrafts from agro-forest raw materials and rattan (making up 7-9%), ship building and repairs (making up 17-18%).

Sea product
- Khanh Hoa’s export aquatic products have step by step entered the world market and stabilized their standing. Since 2001, Khanh Hoa has exported 22,336 tones of aquatic products of all kinds with a value of US$ 118.7 million, an increase of 28.6% in comparison with 2000. In 2004 the province exported 40,000 tones, obtaining US$ 203 million, an increase of 27.5% compared with 2003. The figure is projected to reach US$ 218 in 2005, an increase of 83.6% compared with 2001 - an annual average of 16.7%.

Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd
- Ship building and ship repairs: Hyundai Vinashin Ship Yard Project entered into operation in 1999 and since then has contributed considerably to the export turnover of the province, making the largest contributor in the GDP. In 1999 the shipyard obtained approximately US$ 11 million; in 2001 it repaired and built ships for 23 countries worldwide, obtaining US$ 45 million; in 2004, the figure is estimated at US$ 53 million and is projected to reach US$ 60 million in 2005, an increase of 33% compared with 2001.
